Anne DeGrace Dicussing "Flying with Amelia" at KLF Libraries

Encompassing more than a century and covering Canada from sea to sea,
Nelson author Anne DeGrace’s new novel, Flying
with Amelia, follows the descendents of an Irish immigrant family as they
scatter across the country, from St. John’s Newfoundland to BC and north to the
Beaufort Sea.

Frances Welwood Introduces Annie Ross Foster Hanley

France Welwood will be touring KLF libraries introducing, Annie, the intriguing real-life character, her book Passing Through Missing Pages is based on. Frances' tour will start at the Beaver Valley Public Library on May 24 and end in the fall at the Trail & District Public Library. For the schedule go here. |

Beyond the Batholith Tour |
Kaslo artist Arin Fay is working, with the KLF, to bring her art and the Kootenay women authors, who are the subjects of her Beyond the Batholith series, to a community near you.
Her portraits can be seen at the Nakusp Public Library.
Author Holley Rubinsky will be at the Nakusp Public Library on Sat. May 26 at 2 pm..

Book Club Sets are available at your public library through inter-library loan.
A collection of recently published titles (multiple copies) can be borrowed for a 5 week period.
A list of titles can be found here.
To keep the Book Sets current, titles published in 2009 will be removed from the Book Club Sets in June 2012. A list of the titles to be deselected can be found here.
